We expected to launch a Kickstarter campaign for Airborne 200: Utah Beach on the 77th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 2021. While that was appropriate, Randy ran into some eye problems (and wrist and elbow issues) that have slowed him down. His optometrist says he should recover without surgery, but on June 5, he decided to postpone the launch. The Allies only postponed one day, but we are now planning to launch the Kickstarter on July 25. The original plan to ship the game by Labor Day hasn't changed.

When we launch the Kickstarter, pledge incentives will include numbered signed prints of the theme art by John Taft. Other incentives will be announced on the Kickstarter site.

Crazy Grand Tour Package!

Randy can't restrain his excitement about this incentive, but he's trying. For $250 you will get the game and a $100 discount on a Band of Tours trip to Normandy (limitations apply); best of all, game creator and tour director Randy Brandt will guide you to each and every hero site and photograph you there. Upon returning to the USA, the photos will be turned into a custom set of Hero Site cards and shipped to you. Imagine the awe and wonder on the faces of your game nerd friends when they notice that you are on every Hero Site card!

Note: Obviously acts of God, of evil men, or of nasty airport workers can conspire to cause issues that would make it impossible to visit all 35 hero sites in the alloted time. But it's unlikely that we could be stopped in our quest!

Stay tuned for Kickstarter details.

NOTE: For those unfamiliar with Kickstarter, it's a site devoted to funding creative projects. Supporters create an account and pledge their support on various levels for a variety of incentives, but they are not actually charged unless the project reaches its intended financial goal, ensuring production.
